When you travel as a family, everyone wants their own space and that's exactly what the Citroën Grand C4 Picasso provides. Elegantly designed, beautifully trimmed and bright, this is a place to relax and enjoy the ride, with innovative, practical details and a place for everything. A happy balance of versatility and premium quality.
As always, the Citroën design team has imparted its renowned flair into the new model. With an improved and desirable fuel economy, the highest quality materials, and a strikingly evolved design, this is a vehicle that gives others in its class a real run for their money.
From the exterior the C4 Grand Picasso retains that undeniably Citroën aesthetic. On a wheelbase that's longer and more lightweight, sweeping LED headlights frame a refined grille whilst an emphatic Citroën marque sits centre stage. In a variation from the norm, the design team has sculpted roof rails to run smoothly from the windscreen and around to the back windows. It's this attention to detail that sets the C4 Grand Picasso apart, and gives it such an attractive personality.
The seven flexible seats have been ergonomically designed to offer maximum comfort for all passengers, and offer an array of pleasing upholstery trims. There's plenty of room for storage too, and with both second and third row seats folded drivers can utilise a vast 2,181 litres of boot space. A real jewel in the C4 Grand Picasso's crown is the easy-to-navigate colour touch-screen. Located on the centre console, it gives drivers access to an infotainment system with a USB and Bluetooth® compatible sound system.
BlueHDi is the name given to Citroën’s latest generation of diesel engines. It complies with latest Euro 6 emission standards to deliver exceptional fuel economy and CO2 emissions, which are respectively up to 74.3MPG and 99g/km with the BlueHDi 100 S&S, and gives a driving experience rich in power and performance.
PureTech engines provide increased power with lower fuel consumption and emissions by adopting a smaller and lighter three cylinder configuration constructed of pressure-cast aluminium.
In conjunction with low friction component coatings, improved air and fuel flow and optimised combustion, this allows engines to offer more power, better fuel economy and significantly lower CO2 emissions.
The PureTech 130 S&S engine available on Grand C4 Picasso (emissions: 116g/km) was awarded the highly prestigious accolade of 'International Engine of the Year 2015' in the 1.0l to 1.4l category by a panel of 84 industry experts from 34 countries.
